Capturing the sights, scenes, and stories of childhood.
Rather than traditional, dated, high-volume school portraits, S&S Studios creates curated, intentional photography and videography designed to capture each child within the unique spaces where they learn, create, and explore.
Instead of relying on manufactured backdrops and props, this we thoughtfully incorporate authentic elements already present within your community, like meaningful learning materials, favorite gathering spaces, nature, reading nooks, and other details that reflect the spirit of your co-op, learning pod, homeschool community, forest school, farm school, or STEAM program.
This approach creates imagery that preserves far more than a child’s smile. It tells the story of where they learned, who they were becoming, and the environment that helped shape them. Families consistently tell us these portraits feel more personal, meaningful, and timeless than traditional school photographs.
Our goal is not simply to create a photograph of a child, but to preserve an authentic moment in their educational journey, one that families will treasure for years to come.
Community Photo Day Includes
Sight & Scene Studios offers a personalized portrait experience designed to celebrate both the individual child and the greater learning community.
Each scheduled photo day includes:
Individual Portrait Sessions
Each participating child receives a personalized portrait session capturing their personality, interests, and unique presence within the learning environment.
Sibling Portrait Opportunity
Families with multiple participating children may request sibling portraits during their scheduled session. Sibling portraits are included as part of the community photo experience when each participating child has their own individual session reserved.
Community Class Portrait
Each photo day includes a complimentary class or group portrait celebrating the collective spirit of your learning community.
Educator & Staff Portraits
Teacher and educator headshots are included as a thank-you to the individuals who help cultivate your community.
Community Storytelling Images
With appropriate permissions and releases, additional environmental images may be created to help showcase the beauty, connection, and character of your learning community for promotional materials, newsletters, websites, and community outreach.
Founder/Director Legacy Portrait
As a thank-you for opening your community to Wildly Guided Photography, the founder/director receives a complimentary environmental portrait session.
Parents & Families
Families will purchase their own photography collections directly..
Each family will have the opportunity to select the images and products that best fit their needs.
Participation Requirement
To provide a meaningful and sustainable experience for both families and the learning community, a minimum of five participating students is required to reserve a photo day.
If participation falls below the minimum requirement, the community may choose to:
reschedule the photo day, or
fulfill the minimum participation requirement through the organization.
This ensures that each reserved date receives the preparation, attention, and artistic care that goes into creating a boutique photography experience.
Dedicated Community Photo Days are reserved with a refundable Community Reservation Retainer. Complete reservation details are provided upon scheduling.
Ready to begin planning?
Because we accept a limited number of Community Photo Days each season, dates are confirmed in the order Community Reservation Retainers are received. Our calendar often fills well in advance during the spring and fall portrait seasons, so reserving early gives your community the best opportunity to secure its preferred date.
