Sight & Scene Private Membership Association
This Photography Membership Agreement & Private Services Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Sight & Scene Private Membership Association (“Association”) and the undersigned Member (“Member”).
By requesting and accepting membership within the Association and participating in the Birth Photography Membership Experience, Member acknowledges and agrees to the following terms.
As a PMA, we gather privately under the rights of free association. This means our materials, discussions, and offerings are shared in a confidential, members-only space.
By continuing, you’re entering into a private agreement to engage as a Member, not a customer or client.
Individuals who wish to participate may request membership consideration. If accepted, they will receive access to the private membership portal, where all offerings, contributions, and participation details are made available.
Private Membership Notice
Sight & Scene is a private membership association operating under the principles of mutual agreement, voluntary engagement, private contract and contribution, and free association. The Association does not offer public services or operate as a retail or booking platform. By continuing, you acknowledge that:
- You are voluntarily seeking membership within a private association;
- All materials, communications, and offerings are intended for members only;
- Participation within this space is private and confidential;
- You understand this is not a public business, medical practice, or public commercial service.
Birth Photography & Videography Membership Experience
The Birth Photography Membership Experience provides Member with access to professional birth photography services documenting the journey surrounding the arrival of Member’s child.
The purpose of this experience is to preserve meaningful memories of pregnancy, birth, and early postpartum moments through artistic photography and storytelling.
Coverage may include:
- prenatal consultation and planning
- birth preparation guidance related to photography logistics
- on-call availability during the agreed coverage window
- labor and birth photography &/or videography, specified
- immediate postpartum moments
- newborn details
- family connection and bonding moments
- environmental details and atmosphere
- curated artistic image collection
- professionally
Reservation of Availability & On-Call Commitment
Birth photography requires a significant commitment of time, preparation, and availability.
Upon acceptance of Member’s reservation contribution, the Association reserves space on its calendar and prepares to provide birth photography support during Member’s anticipated birth window.
Because births are inherently unpredictable, exact dates and timing cannot be guaranteed.
Member understands that the Association commits to reasonable availability during the agreed on-call period but cannot guarantee the exact timing, length, or circumstances of birth.
Birth Window & Communication
Member agrees to provide timely updates regarding:
- pregnancy progression
- expected due date changes
- signs of labor
- location changes
- important circumstances affecting coverage
Labor, Birth & Coverage Expectations
Birth photography is documentary in nature. The Association will make reasonable efforts to capture meaningful moments while respecting the natural unfolding of birth.
Member understands:
- labor duration cannot be predicted
- birth may occur faster than arrival is possible
- circumstances may prevent complete coverage
- medical, emergency, or safety situations may affect photography availability
- birth outcomes cannot be controlled by the photographer
The Association does not interfere with birth decisions, medical care, or the choices of Member and Member’s care providers.
Home Birth, Birth Center, and Hospital Birth Considerations
Member is responsible for communicating any location requirements, restrictions, or policies that may affect photography.
Member understands that hospitals, birth centers, midwives, physicians, and other facilities may have their own policies regarding photography.
The Association will make reasonable efforts to comply with applicable location policies while honoring Member’s requested experience.
The Association does not interfere with birth decisions, medical care, or the choices of Member and Member’s care providers.
Backup Photographer/Videographer
Due to the unpredictable nature of birth, circumstances may arise where the primary photographer is unavailable.
In such circumstances, the Association may arrange for a qualified backup photographer or alternative coverage solution.
Member authorizes the Association to make reasonable arrangements necessary to preserve the birth photography experience.
The Association does not interfere with birth decisions, medical care, or the choices of Member and Member’s care providers.
Image Editing & Delivery
Member acknowledges that artistic photography involves creative judgment. The Association maintains discretion regarding:
- image selection
- editing style
- artistic presentation
- final gallery composition
Copyright & Personal Use License
The Association retains all copyright ownership of photographs created during the Birth Photography Membership Experience. Member receives a personal-use license to:
- download and store delivered images
- print images for personal use
- artistic presentation
- share images online with family and friends and *must tag S&S as well as keep the watermark intact
The Association will make reasonable efforts to provide an appropriate resolution when possible.
Privacy & Confidentiality
The Association respects the deeply personal nature of birth.
Member’s images and personal information will not be shared publicly without Member’s explicit permission.
If Member grants permission for portfolio, educational, or promotional use, that permission may be provided through a separate model release.
Cancellation, Transfer & Changes
Member understands that reserving birth photography availability requires preparation and commitment.
If Member chooses not to continue with the experience, Member agrees to notify the Association as soon as possible.
Reservation contributions may be:
- partially refundable according to agreed-upon following term
Circumstances Beyond Control
Neither party shall be responsible for circumstances outside reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- birth is unpredictable
- photography availability cannot be guaranteed beyond reasonable efforts
- the Association provides artistic documentation services
- Member is responsible for communicating important information affecting coverage
- Member has reviewed and understands the expectations described herein
Copyright & Personal Use License

Membership Agreement Summary
Before applying for membership, please review and acknowledge the following:
- You understand this is a private membership association operating within the private domain, not a public offering
- You agree to honor the privacy and confidentiality of all members and shared materials;
- You accept personal responsibility for your own choices, actions, and outcomes;
- You agree to participate respectfully and in alignment with the values of the community;
- You agree to honor our shared values of privacy, respect, and collaboration within a private setting guided by love and mutual growth;
- You have read and agree to the full Membership Agreement and Privacy & Confidentiality Statement.
Any transfer of services or change in circumstances will be considered individually by the Association.
Agreement & Acceptance of Membership
By signing below, Member requests participation in the Wildly Guided Private Ministry Association Birth Photography Membership Experience and agrees to these terms.
Member acknowledges that membership is entered into voluntarily and that both parties agree to participate in good faith.
Photography Release & Image Use Agreement
This Photography Release & Image Use Agreement (“Release”) is entered into between Sight & Scene Private Membership Association (“Association”) and the undersigned Member (“Member”).
This Release applies to photographs, video recordings, and artistic documentation created during Member’s Birth Photography and Videography Membership Experience.
The purpose of this agreement is to establish clear expectations regarding ownership, privacy, and the potential use of images created during Member’s experience.
Ownership of Photographic Works
Member acknowledges that all photographs, video footage, and creative works created by the Association during the Birth Photography Membership Experience are original artistic works protected by applicable copyright laws.
The Association retains all copyright ownership and intellectual property rights to the photographs and recordings created.
Member receives a personal-use license to enjoy and preserve the delivered images.
Any transfer of services or change in circumstances will be considered individually by the Association.
Personal Use Rights Granted to Member
The Association grants Member permission to:
- download and store delivered photographs
- print photographs for personal enjoyment
- share photographs privately with family and friends
- use photographs for personal, non-commercial purposes
- Member agrees not sell or license photographs
- Member agrees not to submit photographs for publication without permission
- Member agrees not to alter, edit, filter, or modify photographs in a manner that changes the artistic representation
- Member agrees not to use photographs for commercial purposes
Privacy & Confidentiality Commitment
The Association recognizes that birth photography captures deeply personal and private moments. and agrees to approach these moments with respect and integrity. Member may communicate specific boundaries or preferences regarding image use before, during, or after birth.
The Association agrees to treat Member’s photographs and personal information with care, respect, and discretion.
Member may request that specific sensitive images not be used.
Unless separately approved, the Association will not publicly identify Member.
If Member wishes to share their story alongside images, separate permission may be requested.
Model Release, Portfolio & Promotional Use Permission
Member authorizes the Association to display selected photographs and recordings created during the Birth Photography Membership Experience for the purposes outlined above.
No Compensation
Member understands that no additional compensation will be provided for authorized use of photographs or recordings.
Member voluntarily grants permission as an expression of support for the Association’s creative work and mission.
Acceptance
By signing below, Member confirms that they have read, understand, and voluntarily agree to the terms of this Photography Release & Image Use Agreement.
The Association agrees to treat Member’s photographs and personal information with care, respect, and discretion.
Member may request that specific sensitive images not be used.
Unless separately approved, the Association will not publicly identify Member.
If Member wishes to share their story alongside images, separate permission may be requested.
Membership Agreement
